Bluestone Park Resort, Narbeth, South Wales
An expansion of the Bluestone Park which included 85 new lodges along with administration and community facilities. Proseam standing seam roof panels in coated aluminium were specified to meet the demands of the maritime location on the south Wales peninsula. A total of 14,000 square metres of Proseam roofing was installed in Anthracite Grey.
Residential housing developments for Barratt/David Wilson Homes, Hendon Waterside & Darwin Green, Cambridge
The newbuild development at Hendon is one of the largest housing schemes in the UK with over 2000 units being constructed in various phases. The mixed scheme includes apartments and townhouses with differing roof materials. Proseam Energi-Roof modules with integrated solar panels were chosen by the site architects on 24 townhouses to create some variation in the roofscape.
The Darwin Green scheme on the outskirts of Cambridge also comprises residential units of various sizes with apartments and townhouses being complemented by larger detached family homes. Proseam panels in a dark brown finish have been installed on both roofs and walls on many of the buildings to complement the buff and beige brickwork, typical of the area.
Stonemasons Yard, Minster Precinct, York
This complex and challenging building was constructed on the site of the former stonemasons’ yard on Petergate in York. To achieve the curved roof segments, the Proseam panels in Anthracite coated aluminium had to be tapered to varying degrees and then laid to tight tolerances. Integrated thin film solar modules bonded onto Proseam in the factory completed the unique Energi-roof system.
